1. About This Service

Durandal.gg is a free, fan-made time-to-kill (TTK) calculator and weapon ranking dashboard for the game Marathon by Bungie, Inc. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bungie, Inc. in any way.

By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

2. No Warranty on Data Accuracy

Weapon stats on this site are sourced from the in-game armory, binary game file extraction (datamined), community captures, or type-based estimates. Each stat displays a confidence indicator so you know which data is verified and which is estimated.

TTK rankings are calculated using a mathematical model with known assumptions and unknowns — including headshot ratios, reload cancel behavior, and accuracy hit rates that cannot be precisely measured without Bungie's internal data. Models are updated per patch but may lag behind game updates.

This site provides no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any TTK calculation or stat displayed. Do not rely on this data for competitive play without independent in-game verification.

3. User Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you sign up, your account is managed by Clerk, Inc. (clerk.com). Your email address, user ID, and a flag indicating whether you have subscribed to patch update emails are stored in Clerk. Clerk's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service govern that data.

You can delete your account at any time. To remove your email from our mailing list, click the unsubscribe link in any email you receive, or contact us at hi@durandal.gg.

4. Email Communications

If you provide your email address, either via account sign-up or the email capture form, you may receive occasional emails about Marathon patch updates and new site features. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Email delivery is handled by Resend, Inc. (resend.com).

5. Feedback and Community Intel

This site includes a feedback form and a community intel submission form. Any content you submit via these forms is forwarded to our internal Discord channels for review. We do not store submissions in our own database. Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply once data is forwarded.

By submitting feedback or intel, you grant Durandal.gg a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, and incorporate that content into the site (for example, correcting a weapon stat based on your in-game capture). Do not submit content that is confidential, violates Bungie's Terms of Service, or infringes third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The site's source code, design, and original written content belong to Durandal.gg. Marathon, all weapon names, character names, and all related game assets are trademarks and copyrights of Bungie, Inc. This site uses Marathon assets and references under a good-faith fan site interpretation. No commercial use of Bungie's intellectual property is made or claimed.

This site covers only live, publicly released in-game content. We do not publish stats for unreleased weapons or content not available to all players in the current patch.

7. Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies govern how they process your data:

Clerk (clerk.com) — user authentication and account management
Resend (resend.com) — transactional and broadcast email delivery
Google Tag Manager — analytics and event tracking
Convex (convex.dev) — backend database (weapon stats only, no personal data)
Vercel (vercel.com) — hosting and edge delivery

8. No Commercial Relationship

This service is provided free of charge, without a service level agreement. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue the site at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Durandal.gg shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use this site or its data, including but not limited to loss of in-game progress, competitive disadvantage, or decisions made based on TTK rankings displayed here.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Use of this site is at your own risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
